This very unusual tea from Japan is called Genmaicha Matcha because it associates Genmaicha (green tea with toasted rice and puffed corn) and Matcha (green Gyokuro tea powder). This original blend reveales in the cup an intense green-yellow liquor with a distinct astringency. The infusion transcends the gustatory qualities of the two great teas it contains.
