Smoked black tea from China with woody, toasty notes.
This tea, the most popular of smoked Chinese teas, is grown in the Fujian province on the slopes of the Wu Yi mountains. It is made from carefully selected large leaves of Souchong smoked over spruce logs. Leaves are smoked several times to develop their character. The liquor has an intense colour and a strong personality, revealing woody and toasty notes. It has an unusually long aftertaste and will delight lovers of great teas. A tea for daytime.
