A gorgeous shade-grown green tea from Japan from the first harvest of the Shizuoka region. Three or four weeks before the harvest, the leaves are covered with a straw net that shades them from the light. The Sincha leaves are a very bright green and yield in the cup a rare iodic intensity. A spring tea, the Sincha (新茶) is only available in small quanitites between April and September. And extremely fine tea.
