Monteviot is a grand cru tea from the Darjeeling region (meaning "City of Lightning" in Tibetan), in the foothills of Himalaya. This garden of an exceptional quality yields small harvests. The gorgeous, colourful leaves are greener and more tender than other black tea leaves, and include a high number of silver and gold buds. The first harvest - First Flush - starts in the first days of Spring, and the tea is enjoyed as soon as May. The golden yellow liquor exhales notes of nutmeg and is lightly astringent.
