Typical Japanese teapot called Kyushu, characterized by the presence of a hollow handle. Made in Tokoname clay, on the Honshu island, south of Tokyo. This model evoke a water lily leaf on the water: the edge of the teapot is sculpted like a water lily and the striped body represents water waves. A stainless steel filter covers the inside of the teapot.
